Food and Beverage Stallholders 2018
More details about the 2018 stallholders will be available in November 2017, including their exiting menus.
Featuring an amazing range of quality Tasmanian producers showcasing food, wine, beer, cider, whisky and spirits, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages.
This year we have received a record number of stallholder applications, over 110, with approximately 30 first-time applicants. The range of stallholders will comprise of approximately 55% food and 45% beverage.
A number of stalls this year will be offering share platters, in response to feedback we have received from patrons at the 2017 event. We have some exciting multicultural foods reflecting our local community, as well as some exciting new cooking initiatives, and we welcome some additional vegan and vegetarian options. So there really is something for everyone at Festivale 2018.
Each year Festivale recognises the outstanding efforts of stallholders with the Festivale Stall Awards: Best Dessert, Best Taste Plate, Best New Stall, Best Wine Stall, Best Overall Stall, Best Accessibility, Environmentally Friendly Stall, Chairman’s Award. The Wine Awards are open to all wine stallholders at Festivale 2018. Winners will be awarded in the following classes: Sparkling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Grigio, best other red and best other white. For more information on previous wiinners.
The growing popularity of cider is evident by the increasing number of quality cider houses showcased at Festivale every year. Festivale’s Cider Awards recognize outstanding cider producers in the following classes: Best Cider, Best Perry and Best non-traditional. For more information on previous wiinners.
