Best Stall Awards

Each year the Festivale Committee recognises the outstanding efforts of it’s stallholders in the following categories:

  1. Best Food Stall
  2. Best Wine Stall
  3. Best Combined Stall
  4. Best Healthy Option Stall
  5. Best New Stall

Judging will take place on Saturday and winners will be announced at 5.50pm from the Frontline Stage.

Festivale encourages all stallholders to achieve the highest of standards in terms of visual presentation, atmosphere, customer service, use of Tasmanian products and menu, regulatory compliance and adherence to Festivale guidelines.

Criteria for Judging Stalls

 

Up to 15 points are to be rewarded for each criteria.

Stalls will be judged on the following criteria:

  1. Visual Presentation of Stall
    Attractive design, contemporary festival style, practical layout of stall, e.g. Use of space and flow of movement.
  2. Atmosphere, Service and Hospitality
    Professionalism, speed and attentiveness of service, degree of product knowledge. Staff should be friendly with a high standard of personal presentation. A touch of theatre is always well received.
  3. Product/Menu
    Presentation, freshness and creativity, authenticity of style and product, selection, pricing and reflected portion sizes. Use and promotion of Tasmanian products.
  4. Requirements
    Adherence to health, hygiene and safety regulations and adherence to Festivale guidelines eg. food types.
