{1} A maximum of two images may be submitted, by email or mail, by each entrant.{2} The subject material must be Tasmanian and based on the theme of Festivale, i.e. “Food, Wine and Entertainment”. It may involve people and show aspects of the production, processing or presentation of food and/or wine together with associated entertainment. {3} Commercially processed and author processed prints may be submitted, but the photograph must have been taken by the entrant. Any digital manipulation must have been made by the photographer, or under their personal direction. {4} Montages (multiple images in the one print) will not be accepted. {5} Digital images must be a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels (landscape) or 768 x 1024 pixels (portrait) in size. This will require the use of 1 megapixel digital camera or greater. Print submissions must be A3 or A4 in size. All images may be in colour or monochrome (black and white). Please ensure the orientation of the image is rotated to it’s correct viewing angle. Digital images will be printed by Stallards Camera House. {6} Please package prints for transport in a flat clear plastic folder to enable quick identification of your entry. If print is to be returned by mail, external packaging that is able to be reused for this purpose is required. Ensure return postage cost is included with your entry fee. {7} The title on the prints will bear the information supplied including photographer’s name, title of the image, and number corresponding with the entry form. On submitted prints please ensure photographer’s name and entry title is clearly visible on reverse side of print. {8} Judges will look for First, Second and Third placings, plus a Student’s Award will be selected by an experienced panel. In addition, public votes will be invited to select a “People’s Choice” winner. {9} The decision of the selection panel will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. {10} Copyright remains with the author, but permission to reproduce entries for future use by Festivale for event marketing purposes will be assumed. {11} Selected entries will be displayed at Design Centre Tasmania during Festivale. Prints selected will be mounted in standard ivory stiff card picture mounts by expert Design Centre Tasmania staff. {12} This exhibition is conducted according to the recommended practices of the Australian Photographic Society Inc.
