Festivale is open during the following times
Friday: 5:30pm - 10:45pm Saturday: 11am - 10:45pm Sunday: 10am - 4pm
Please note:
Wine sold by the glass will be available until 10:45pm.
Sale of wine by the bottle will cease at 9:30pm.
Packaged liquor may be removed from the park on Saturday until 5pm and 4pm on Sunday.
Food sales will cease on Friday and Saturday at 10:45pm.
Sunday is Family Day at Festivale with special activities, including dance workshops, juggling workshops and craft activities.
For the Children
Festivale offers children a chance to explore Kid’s Kingdom (Sites 28, 29 and 30 on the Festivale Site Map).
Children's activities will run from; Friday: 5:45pm - 8.00pm Saturday: 11.00am - 8.00m Sunday: 10.00am - 4.00pm
Pass outs
Should you wish to leave Festivale and return later please see gate staff for a pass out stamp.
Festivale is a Smoke Free event
Launceston City Council discourage smoking at all outside venues owned, controlled and leased by Council.
Festivale aims to protect all patrons, stallholders and employees from exposure to Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS)
Launceston City Park will become smoke free for the duration of the event.
A designated designated smoking area is located near the Albert Hall Cafe and is marked on the Festivale Site Map.
Smokers will be required to dispose of cigarette butts by using the enviropoles provided in the designated smoking area.
What to bring to Festivale
A hat, sunscreen, warm jacket for cooler evenings, suitable ID for those over 18 who wish to purchase alcohol, a picnic blanket or your own fold up seating, personal umbrella/rain coat in case of wet weather, cash – there is no Eftpos facility available at Festivale.
What can you bring to Festivale? Soft drink, Food, Fold Up Chairs, Personal Umbrellas, Eskies (no alcohol).
What is NOT permitted at Festivale? Shade structures / large umbrellas, alcohol, BBQ's / Fire pots, Tables, Fireworks, Animals.

Lost property
Visit Security/Police for lost and found property enquiries. All lost property not claimed at Festivale will be delivered to the Launceston headquarters of Tasmania Police.
Cycle Racks
Cycle racks will be available inside the Tamar Street entrance (opposite Cameron Street) on Sunday 13th February for cyclists to fasten their cycles to. Cyclists need to provide their own means of fastening to the racks which are similar to a cyclone fence gate.
Tamar Bicycle Users Group members will man the area but any cycles left are at the owner’s risk.
